Stepping into Maison Mayci, you are greeted with an ambiance that balances comfort and elegance. The owners and staff contribute to its welcoming vibe, with many customers praising their attentive service. As noted by local patrons, this café has undergone recent refurbishments, adding to its charm while retaining its essence as a community favorite.
One of the highlights here is the exquisite pastry selection. But that's not all. The classic croissant is a must-try — flaky and buttery, it exemplifies what a perfect pastry should be. For a heartier option, their Croque Monsieur can whisk you away to France, providing comfort in every bite. And let’s not overlook their creative sandwiches, like the fermented bread sandwich with French goat cheese and organic salad, praised as the epitome of ingredient perfection.
Enjoy a delightful drink with your meal; the mochachino is a reliable classic served just right. The café space is not only inviting but also ideal for a casual work session. Clean facilities and affordable pricing further enhance the overall experience, making it a repeat destination for many.

“ Popped in for a late breakfast after the refurb. So great to see a fantastic business thriving! Delicious food, swift service and very friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommended! ”
“ I visited Cafe Mayson Maici and tried a few of their treats. I ordered the Apricot Blueberry Tart, and it was delicious! The base was crunchy and lightly sweet, not overpowering, complemented by the tangy blueberry and the texture of the apricot, making this tart perfectly balanced. Then, I tried the Choco Brownies Tart. The base was the same, but the chocolate was rich with a slight bitterness and a touch of milk, making this tart incredibly tasty. I also had the basic croissant, which was flaky, buttery, and absolutely perfect. For drinks, I went with a mochachino, which was just like any classic mochachino. The service was friendly, the space is nice and comfortable, ideal for working on a laptop. The toilet was clean, and the prices were quite affordable. I’ll definitely come back to try more tarts! ”

“ Moseley is full of moaners, so take the negative reviews with a pinch of salt. I have been going to Maison Mayci for many years and never had a bad experience. The owner is pleasant, as are the staff. ”
“ Lovely place , been there for years and also went to the smaller one that has closed. I took my friend there for her first time and she loved it , as did I . I’m going there soon to eat and buy some delicious bread from there. Definitely recommend if you want a real taste of France ”
“ Beautiful cafe space, good coffee and outstanding pastries and sweets. I really enjoyed this spot and will definitely be hitting it up again before I leave. Closed on Sundays ”
“ We stumbled across this cafe on a Saturday morning and immediately noticed how buzzing it was inside. Though a bit overwhelming, we were able to find a seat quickly. The place presents a classic French vibe, with variety of fresh bread and pastries, hot food and drinks offered. Despite the amount of customers, the food came fairly quickly in great portions. The blueberry tart is delicious and just the right balance of sweetness with a hint of sourness. ”
